Asset label paste method
Due to the variety of assets, the size of the company, the individual differences in the articles, and the different metal properties of the articles, it is difficult to formulate standardized rules for sticking labels and impose higher requirements on the sizes and specifications of the labels. Therefore, before sticking labels, you must first classify and manage the assets.
The assets in the library can be broadly classified into four categories: large box, small box, metal items, and general unpackaged items.
a) Large package refers to the use of external packaging, bulky assets, which may contain one or more items. For such items, due to their bulkiness, it is difficult to put on or check inventory management, and it is difficult to borrow and return registrations. Therefore, an asset is managed using a label, and the label is affixed to the outer packing box. Use RFID handhelds for registration management when lending and returning registrations.
b) Small package items refer to assets that are packaged in an outer box and are relatively small in size. One or more items may be included in the package. For such items, the label is affixed to the outer box and registered using an RFID asset borrower at the time of lending or returning registration.
c) Metal items refer to single-piece metal items. Because metal interferes with the identification of labels, they will be suspended on metal objects by using a tag, and they will be registered by using an RFID asset borrower at the time of lending and return registration.
d) Ordinary non-packaged items refer to single items, which are tagged or affixed, and are registered with the loaner for loan of assets at the time of lending and returning.
Smart shelf design
Each RFID smart shelf is a modular design with good concealment. It can be customized according to the actual needs of the user's asset management, and can also be directly transformed on the basis of existing shelves. The smart shelf is equipped with an LED indicator, which will light up if it detects that the required assets are on the shelves. This smart shelf can be used in various situations.
The flat antenna embedded in the shelf is placed horizontally and placed flat on the bottom of each shelf, which can sense the asset tags placed on this floor.
The standard shelf of the branch office has a floor height of 50cm and a length of about 150cm, so each shelf needs to place three panel antennas in parallel. Each shelf has four floors and a total of 12 patch antennas are required to be embedded. In this way, each smart shelf needs to be equipped with a 4W reader and two multiplexers. The reader signal is distributed to the multiplexer and then connected to 12 panel antennas.

1) Achieve unique identification of physical assets
First of all, according to the uniqueness of RFID tags, one-to-one correspondence with physical assets is realized. Then, the name, category, origin, quantity, storage location, and other information of the asset are entered in the tag through an RFID reading and writing device, and a tag is finally installed on the asset.
2) Realize the automatic positioning of assets
The system can scan the in-place asset on the smart shelf in real time according to the input asset number or name. When the asset is located, the smart shelf will automatically turn on the light to indicate the shelf location of the asset. The entire process takes only 10 seconds. Can be completed.
3) Automatic inventory of in-place assets
When inventory is performed, manual inventory of each asset is not required. Only the “online inventory” function needs to be activated. The smart shelf will read the RFID electronic tag information on the asset and read it through the communication interface. The asset information is transmitted to the server. The server then processes the asset information through the application software, performs inventory and counting of the in-place asset in real time, and compares it with the inventory data. If there is a conflict between the scanned data and the existing data in the database, a prompt message is generated. Finally, the server can print the asset inventory table according to the user's demand.
4) Asset Inventory Management
When the assets need to be in storage, the management personnel will create a storage order according to the invoice, the system determines the warehouse and shelf where the asset should be stored according to the information of the storage order, read the RFID tag of the asset through the RFID read-write device, and record the asset. Information, and place the assets on the designated shelf, and then check with the electronic tag information on the position, and finally log the information into the system database.
5) Asset Outbound Management
When the assets need to be out of the warehouse, the management staff will make out a warehouse receipt according to the sales contract. The system determines the warehouse and shelf where the assets should be stored according to the outbound warehouse information. The intelligent shelf can detect and locate the assets in real time.
6) Asset Security Management
Through the installation of intelligent security inspection doors at the warehouse entrance, real-time collection of tag information, if the assets are not authorized to the library, the system will immediately link with the security system to ensure the safekeeping of assets. If the authorized assets are released, the software will automatically record the outbound information and perform statistics.
The electronic shelf label system passes data from the server to the site's price server computer. The computer passes the price information that needs to be modified through the network cable to the base station through the ESL software middleware.
The base stations distributed in the store communicate the price tag to the price tag via wireless. The price tag receives the instruction and answers the base station.
