RFID is the abbreviation of Radio Frequency Identification, which is radio frequency identification technology, commonly known as electronic tags.

According to different ways to achieve can be divided into: Active tags (Active tags) and Passive tags (Passive tags)

Because the active tag is provided with its own energy, it can supply energy without a reader. The active tag itself is battery-powered, has a relatively long read/write distance and is large in size, and is more costly than a passive tag, also referred to as an active tag.

Passive tags obtain the energy required for operation by the magnetic field generated by the reader. The cost is low and has a long service life. It is smaller and lighter than the active tag, and the reading and writing distance is relatively short. It is also called a passive tag.

Active RFID electronic tags: large, expensive, and because of the battery life is relatively short

Passive RFID tag: small, cheap, long life

Active RFID tag: Because it sends a signal, the recognition distance is long and the recognition is more accurate.

Passive RFID tags: By reading the electromagnetic waves emitted by the antenna and generating signal transmissions inside the tag, the recognition distance is much shorter than that of active tags.
