Passive RFID tag: small, cheap, long life
Active RFID tag: Because it sends a signal, the recognition distance is long and the recognition is more accurate.
Passive RFID tags: By reading the electromagnetic waves emitted by the antenna and generating signal transmissions inside the tag, the recognition distance is much shorter than that of active tags.
