There are many technologies to protect brands and counterfeit anti-counterfeiting. Traditional anti-counterfeiting, laser anti-counterfeiting, two-dimensional anti-counterfeiting, RFID and NFC, as well as the recent blockchain anti-counterfeiting. It is not difficult to see from the above table that laser and electronic code anti-counterfeiting are only eliminated. Although the two-dimensional code is used as the anti-counterfeiting technology for most products at present, due to the shortcomings such as easy copying, the anti-counterfeiting effect is poor, and it does not last long.
All that remains is RFID, NFC, and blockchain, and blockchains cannot exist alone. On the source of anti-counterfeiting, it is easy to see from the table that the advantages of RFID and NFC anti-counterfeiting are far greater than the two-dimensional code. As an emerging technology, the blockchain will also rely on RFID and NFC in the future.
Many high-end products, especially alcohol, have already used RFID and NFC as anti-counterfeiting technology. At present, Ali also cooperates with Maotai through blockchain anti-counterfeiting technology. Others such as Wu Niang, Yanghe, etc. previously used NFC anti-counterfeiting. The wines are also in Jingdong, and IBM is cooperating in blockchain anti-counterfeiting.
So it seems that the future anti-counterfeiting technology is no longer a single combat, at least the blockchain plus NFC (or RFID) dual system
